Visitor Information

Chicago Corinthian Yacht Club honors reciprocity with most other yacht clubs throughout the world, so long as they are at least 35 miles from Chicago. Please present your identification card when requested.

Water Arrival

Transient dock space is available through Westrec any time after May 15. The harbor monitors channels 9 and 16, and the switch to/working channel is 71. Reservations are recommended and can be made by calling Harbor Master Tyron Cavin at (312) 742-7527.

Land Arrival and Parking

Chicago Corinthian Yacht Club does not have a designated parking lot but plenty of parking is available on Montrose Avenue on the west and north sides of the club. Be advised that these spaces fill up early in the summer months and particularly during major events such as the 4th of July, and the Air and Water Show.

A public parking lot operated by the city is available to the west of Montrose Avenue. There is also a gated parking area here for Westrec boaters with a parking permit. The parking permit must be displayed in the vehicle at all times.

Attire

CCYC maintains a casual dress code for most events and all areas of the club. However, bathing suits are never allowed in the public areas of the club, and a shirt and shoes must be worn at all times. At certain times there may be events that require more formal dress.

Locker Rooms

Locker rooms for men are located adjacent to the entrance of CCYC and for women at the rear of the club adjacent to The Bar.
